The Arkansas EFA Program

Wofford Ranch is a proud vendor of the Arkansas Education Freedom Account (EFA) program. Through this program, we are able to offer both private and group riding lessons to enrolled students. Our instruction goes beyond riding. In addition to teaching proper grooming and horsemanship skills, we emphasize daily horse care, including feeding and overall management. To accommodate the summer heat, our program shifts to engaging group sessions that emphasize equine anatomy, proper horse care and wellness, hands-on activities like making horse treats, and learning opportunities with guest speakers—all while ensuring the health and comfort of our horses. These experiences help build confidence, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of animal care. The EFA program allows us to offer daytime lesson availability, making scheduling more flexible and convenient for families.
